Virtual Sessions

Virtual sessions allow clients all of the benefits of in-office sessions without the hassle or travel time. Perfect for busy professionals or those who simply prefer meeting virtually.

Session Length

Most sessions are 45 minutes long and scheduled weekly to best meet the goals of each client. Longer sessions are available after the initial meeting or in emergency situations.

Sessions are scheduled based on client availability during the initial phone consultation. Scheduling at the same time, each week, allows you to commit to taking time to focus on yourself. It also keeps me from scheduling others during your preferred appointment time.

Hello Wellness observes a strict 24-hour cancellation policy. If you’re unable to keep your scheduled appointment, please cancel prior to 24 hours of your appointment time to avoid being charged the full-session fee.

Payment

At the start of every session, payment is required. You may conveniently settle your payment using credit or debit cards through the online client portal via Simple Practice. Once you set your first appointment, a link to the portal will be sent to you, where you can complete the necessary paperwork and grant authorization to charge your card for every session. We also accept Flex Spending Accounts (FSA) and Health Savings Accounts (HSA).

I do not accept insurance at this time. Some advantages include:

  • With me, an insurance company does not dictate your care. Instead through collaborative efforts formed by my professional expertise and your personal preferences/goals, we will form a treatment plan.

  • No diagnosis label is permanently attached to your health record.

  • Your records are protected, which means all information about you, including very personal information, cannot be obtained by anyone you do not authorize me to share it with.

I will gladly provide you with documentation for out-of-network benefits reimbursement.


Insurance

No Surprises Act

You can request a Good Faith Estimate (GFE) at any time, which we base on our expected sessions costs if you met with us for 50 sessions during a calendar year. All new clients are provided a GFE regardless of whether or not they request it as part of your client intake paperwork. If we saw you 45 minutes a week for 50 sessions, you would expect to pay $6,500. You could dispute any overcharges by filing a report, as explained on your GFE. For more questions please contact me.

Clients can request, or I may recommend, longer sessions or more than weekly sessions based on their specific needs. There may also be crises that require us to meet together more than we’d expect. These will impact your total cost.
